After graduating with first class honours from Nottingham Trent University's famed Design for Film & TV course, Mike Jones began his career as an Art Department Runner at Pinewood Studios on 'Skyfall.' He rapidly advanced from Assistant Art Director to Art Director on productions both in the UK and internationally for the likes of Netflix, Disney, HBO, BBC and more. With experience in large-scale builds both in studio and on location, Mike has contributed to acclaimed series including "His Dark Materials" and "The Great," and Production Designed his first feature "Miss Willoughby and the Haunted Bookshop" in 2020.

His skillset seamlessly blends 3D design and technical drafting across multiple platforms to transform concepts into reality, using knowledge of VFX pipelines, emerging technologies like Virtual Production, Virtual Reality and AI to enhance the design process.

Now based primarily in Australia, Mike brings his expertise in Art Direction and Production Design to productions across multiple states while also on occasion working internationally in the UK/Europe and the Middle East.
